A long, fairly narrow site with interesting changes of level, a swimming pool on the street side, and steps, landings and paths connecting entry gate and front door. Down to earth plant choices and a natural colour palette for construction materials make this the quintessential beach house. For fun we used willow twig panels and leant them this way and that in a sculptural way on the sand dunes.
